Comme des Garçons 2015SS "Rose and Blood" Pinned Cutting Skirt

Comme des Garçons’ “Roses and Blood” collection, presented for Spring/Summer 2015 by designer Rei Kawakubo, features designs inspired by the contrasting imagery of roses and blood. The runway was dominated by vivid reds, evoking both the beauty of roses and the intensity of blood, creating a striking visual contrast.
The collection is celebrated as a highly avant-garde presentation, blending fashion with a dramatic, almost ritualistic artistic expression.

The outer layer is secured with multiple pins, allowing the inner layer to be visible through the gaps. This creates a two-layered effect, giving the skirt a design that resembles armour.
