■ General

MARU specialises in archive and vintage clothing.

All items are one-of-a-kind and may show signs of age or wear. Please review all photos and descriptions before completing your purchase.

We comply with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015.

■ Eligibility for Returns

1. Change of mind / Unwanted items

You may return your order within 14 days of receiving the item.

Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

 

 2. Item not as described / Major undisclosed defect

If the item:

  • significantly differs from the description
  • has a major flaw not shown or described
  • or if you received the wrong item

we will cover the return shipping cost and offer a full refund.

 

◾️Vintage-specific notes

Due to the nature of vintage items, the following are not considered defects:

  • general wear consistent with age
  • minor fading, small marks, light fraying
  • natural variations from decades-old garments

We describe and photograph all important details as accurately as possible.

 

■ Non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • items worn or with removed tags
  • items with added odours (perfume, smoke), stains, or damage after delivery
  • sale items (if stated)
  • returns requested after 14 days
  • returns sent without prior communication

 

■ How to return

  1. Contact us within 14 days at (email) with your order number.
  2. We will provide the return address.
  3. Send the item using a tracked shipping service.
  4. We issue refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

 

■ Refunds

  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method.
  • Shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable (except for faulty items).

 

■ International orders

We accept international returns.

Return shipping costs and any customs charges are the buyer’s responsibility (unless the item was faulty)
